Copacabana
The first German premiere successfully mastered. WIESBADEN. With Latin-American swing and play joy the youth club theatre of the Hessian state theatre of Wiesbaden with the German-speaking première of the musical "Copacabana" has aroused enthusiasm. With applause and ovations the audience celebrated on the Thursday evening the première of the piece performed for the first time in 1994 in London of the American singer and song writer Barry Manilow in the small house of the theatre. Theatrical convinced Aleman Steckic (Tony) and Julia Klemm (Lola), but also Anke Budau as a south - rural spirited Conchita. Björn Sauer as a club boss Sam and Felicitas Geipel as an aged "Copa-Girl" Gladys received a lot of applause for her amusing inserts.
